August 1 was the first day back to school for Knox County teachers, but one new principal has been preparing for the year at his old stomping grounds.

Ryan Siebe has just made the transition from being principal at Carter High School to being the principal at Farragut, but what’s unique about this is that he was once an English teacher at the high school, and he says things will be a little different since he used to play pranks while he was a teacher, and now he’s the one on the other side enforcing the rules.

However, Siebe says that he’ll put the jokes aside to get prepared to really dive in to the school year.

Siebe also says he’s excited for the new year and he’s looking forward to being there a long time.
